JAZZ VOCALIST • SONGWRITER • RADIO HOST • VOICEOVER ARTIST • WRITER
Born in 1984 in Istanbul into a family of painters and actors, Deliorman graduated from Kadıköy Anadolu High School and went on to study Translation Studies at Boğaziçi University and Graphic Design at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. She began her musical journey during her university years, singing in an a cappella jazz choir. She has written articles and worked as an editor for international concert series, festivals, and music magazines, and has voiced advertisements for global brands.
After receiving private training, she stepped onto the jazz scene in 2011. She has performed over 300 concerts on major stages across Türkiye, both as a soloist and in various ensembles. She also performed as a featured soloist with the Cemal Reşit Rey Jazz Orchestra and appeared as a guest artist at clubs and festivals in Eastern European countries.
In addition to interpreting jazz standards in her own style and adapting them into Turkish, she has written more than 50 original songs blending genres such as jazz, tango, waltz, pop, blues, and arabesque. Throughout this process, she founded several music projects including Sanat Deliorman and Her Jazz Bros, Ukulele Jazz Project, The Talking Guitars, From Poland with Love, and Jazz Sisters. She also developed Aşk Kumbarası (Love Bank), an interactive concert project that fuses her original compositions with storytelling, vocal improvisation, and visual design.
Since 2016, she has hosted and produced the weekly radio program Dünyanın Cazı (“The Jazz of the World”) on Apaçık Radyo, sharing diverse jazz expressions from around the globe and designing in-program interview series that support and promote independent jazz musicians.
Based in Istanbul, she has been an active member of the women-led music solidarity network Sisters Music Chain since 2023, where she serves as a mentor and musician in projects aimed at strengthening Türkiye’s cultural ecosystem. She also teaches private vocal lessons. In parallel, through her collaboration with the Dream Institute, she works as a literature researcher on the relationship between dreams and musical creation, offering seminars and podcast projects on the subject.
